Event description
You’re probably very familiar with the bright yellow Marie Curie daffodils that you see people wearing every springtime. But what do you really know about the charity behind those daffodils?
This talk by John Jennings gives a brief introduction to the life and work of the famous scientist, Marie Curie, and explains how she became linked to a charity here in the UK, how that charity developed, why it’s logo is a daffodil, and what services it offers today.
