The myth: trial by water and the drowning of the Washington Witch in 1696.

The result: the Sunderland Indie swing into action with all things witchy in 2025.

“A truly exciting exhibition, an array of artworks interpreting the notion of ‘witch’ in many thought provoking ways”. Consider black magic, white magic, social injustice and murder.
