Event description
The St Peters Riverside Sculpture Project lasted for more than 10 years, involving many artists and a wide section of the local community to create a series of largescale public artworks along the northern bank of the River Wear in Sunderland.
The project gained widespread acclaim and was led by the sculptor Colin Wilbourn who will give an illustrated talk explaining how it worked, who was involved and what inspired the sculptures.
