Join choir leader Jude Murphy and the Women’s Health in South Tyneside (WHIST) Choir for a joyful, uplifting afternoon of music and community spirit.
Formed in the months following lockdown, the WHIST Choir has grown into a supportive, confidence building space where women come together to connect, breathe, and raise their voices. Since then, the choir has continued to flourish—blending friendship, wellbeing, and the sheer pleasure of singing.
At this special event, the choir will perform a vibrant mix of pop, rock, and folk songs they’ve been working on, celebrating everything they’ve achieved together. You’ll also hear members share their experiences of the wellbeing benefits of group singing—from boosting mood to building resilience.
And who knows… you might even be invited to join in for a song or two!
Come along, enjoy the music, and be part of a heartwarming celebration of community, confidence, and the power of singing together.
