Event description

This moving and uplifting exhibition celebrates the extraordinary Creative Age group at Arts Centre Washington – a long‑running programme created for people living with dementia, carers, individuals with long-term health conditions, and those experiencing social isolation.

For over a decade, Creative Age has provided a welcoming, supportive space where participants can connect, express themselves, and explore their creativity without boundaries. Through art, conversation, and shared experiences, the group has built a vibrant community rooted in dignity, friendship, and self-expression.

As the current funded phase of the project comes to a close and the group evolves into its next chapter, No Yesterdays, No Tomorrows, Only Today reflects on the incredible journey so far. The exhibition brings together artwork, stories, and moments from across the years, honouring the inspiring individuals who have shaped Creative Age and the powerful impact of creativity in the present moment.

This is a celebration not only of artistic achievement, but of resilience, connection, and living fully in the now.
