My Wild Spirit Shamanic Day Retreat
Saturday 28th March 10 – 4.30pm
Welcome to this nurturing shamanic immersion day of journeying with spirit animals, guides and nature’s teachers. Explore shamanic practices, the element of Air as we greet the East at this time of Spring, connection with in-season plant spirits, as well as shamanic creative crafting.
Through the journeying space — a guided meditation supported by percussion — you’ll meet helping guides, explore movement, sound and stillness, and experience shamanic techniques with practitioner Shaney.
Shamanic Crafting:
We will explore feather magic, creating practical and powerful ‘smudging’ tools for smoke cleansing practices, so you may wish to bring a few found feathers with you, although there will be many available to choose from.
Expect a holistic day of energetic clearing, gentle movement, grounding and healing practices designed to help you feel connected to your own power, inner guidance and overall sense of wellbeing.
Shamanism is an ancient, earth-based practice pre-dating religion. At its heart is a deep respect for nature and a belief that wellbeing is strengthened through right-relationship with the natural world.
Meet your host:
Shaney Barton is a shamanic practitioner, healer and teacher whose work supports people to re-connect with the wisdom, energy and rich characteristics of the natural world.
If you’re new to shamanism, know that everything we do is held gently, safely and at your own pace.
Teas and coffee included.

My Wild Spirit Shamanic Day Retreat: Summer Immersion
Saturday 13th June 10 – 4.30pm
A grounding and restorative Shamanic Retreat Day exploring the element of Fire, the direction of South, and rich inner landscapes through somatic practice, movement, rhythm, and guided altered states. Designed to settle and replenish the nervous system, deepen perception, and support safe, embodied inner work.
🥁 Through guided drumming, movement and meditation — using rhythm, sound, imagery, and reflective journaling — we’ll:
- Explore the teachings and medicine of the direction of South – the home of the Fire element and the season of Summer – entering into relationship with its core principles
- Journey to connect with the medicine and wisdom of Cacao spirit, a heart-activating and healing plant ally, traditionally used in Mesoamerican cultures as a bridge between the physical and spiritual worlds.
- Relax into the healing frequencies with a restorative sound bath designed to decompress the nervous system and take the spirit on a gentle restful journey within.
The retreat includes energetic clearing, grounding, and restorative movement practice to help you feel more connected to your inner resources, instinctual intelligence, and sense of wellbeing, with space to reflect on how these insights translate into everyday life.
Guided by Shaney Barton — shamanic practitioner, healer, and somatic guide — who holds a steady, contained space that supports both newcomers and those with previous experience of journeying or trance-based practices.
Spaces are intentionally limited to keep the group small, connected, and well-supported.
Early Bird: £65 until May 29th
Teas and coffee included.
