Event description
Mr Drayton’s Rock Docs
Attempting to capture lightning and put it in a bottle is a fools errand, that’s why many music documentaries and concert films are akin to watching paint dry. There are exceptions though.
Join Mr Drayton as he hosts an evening of celluloid marvel with his customary nonsense and barely credible facts about what you’re about to experience. To gild the lily there will be an easy access quiz following the screening with many lamentable prizes.
David Bowie: Moonage Daydream
In May we bring you the kaleidoscopic masterpiece Moonage Daydream, a glimmering space-age thrill thrill-ride orbiting David Bowie.
A cinematic odyssey exploring the Starman’s creative and musical journey. From visionary filmmaker Brett Morgen, and sanctioned by the Bowie estate.
Mr Drayton’s Rock Docs
This screening is part of our Mr Drayton’s Rock Docs programme – a classic music documentary screening hosted by Mr Steve Drayton and followed by a fun quiz!
Arts Centre Washington’s Film Programme is supported by Film Hub North with National Lottery funding on behalf of the BFI Film Audience Network.
