Event description
Join us for an unforgettable evening of music curated by members of the YMP Collective, a peer‑led community of emerging musicians aged 18–25. This special event will be presented in theatre‑style seating, giving every audience member a clear, comfortable view of the stage and creating the perfect atmosphere to enjoy the performances.
Expect an eclectic mix of genres, original tracks, and bold new ideas as these artists take to a professionally staged set‑up to share what they’ve been crafting in their dedicated space at Field Music Studios. It’s an exciting opportunity to see local talent showcased with full production values—spotlighting their work at its absolute best.
Headline Act is Izzy Price
Izzy Price is a singer-songwriter from Gateshead and a member of YMP Collective. Stepping into the world of performing across the NorthEast at festivals and music venues such as Summer Streets and The Fire Station, Izzy blends gorgeous melodies with timeless songwriting. Her own brand of Lizzy McAlpine inspired indie pop music is not to be missed . Her debut single, “Silver, Gold, Green”, will be released in Spring.
Support from Lily Mac + Callum O’Neil
Eighteen year-old County Durham singer, songwriter and guitarist Lily Mac has been a fixture on Sunderland’s music scene for several years, taking cues from artists such as Jeff Buckley, Joan as Police Woman, Elliott Smith and Jade Bird, while assembling songs full of, as she puts it, “big plot twists and big feelings.”
Last year, Lily released her debut single “Empty Man”, which was co-produced with Field Music’s David Brewis. Lily describes it as her “letting go rock song”, but it elegantly balances melancholy and grit. The release followed Lily’s starring role in the National Theatre’s spectacular collaborative project Public Record, which saw a hundred-strong cast explore Sunderland’s past and present through story, song and dance.
Lily’s next single will be coming out soon.
Callum O’Neil is a young and prolific songwriter, whose deeply personal songs shine through, leading him to win the Sunderland Music City songwriting competition in 2024. He is about to release his debut single and following on from sold out support slots with local artists Patrick Gosling and Swindled is looking to build some momentum throughout 2026!
