Join us for an afternoon introduction to life and figure drawing, exploring the foundations of drawing the human figure, including line, proportion, form and tone.

Starting with the fundamentals of constructing the figure, we’ll introduce some of the key principles of observational figure drawing to help build your confidence and understanding.

During the workshop, we’ll cover:

  • Constructing the form
  • Mapping the body
  • Deconstructing the figure into basic shapes
  • Simple hatching and shading techniques

By the end of the afternoon, you’ll have a solid grounding in the fundamentals of figure drawing and a set of practical techniques to continue developing your skills.
