Event description
Join us on Thursday 19th March for a special Drink and Draw session exploring how line-making can create three-dimensional impact in your drawings. Artist Terry Culkin will share his tips in an introductory tutorial on techniques for creating a relief / 3D form effect to replicate the form of the body.
We’ll be working with shade, tone, and hatching techniques using pen, pencil, and colour.
Basic materials are provided, but feel free to bring your own to experiment with.
This is an intermediate, fast-paced session with a life model, alongside all the usual Drink and Draw music, camaraderie, and good vibes.
Drinks are available from the Courtyard Bar.
Please take your seats by 6.55pm for a prompt 7pm start.
Doors open at 6.45pm.
