Creative You Junior is a project for young people ages 8-10 who live in Washington East and therefore places will be allocated on this basis.
Event description
Join us over the October half-term for free day-long workshops with writer Bridget Hamilton and sound artist Grace Stubbings.
Learn about all the elements of what makes a great story, bring it to life through sound and meet like-minded young people in a friendly and supportive space.
Do you have an idea for a blood-curdling scary story this Halloween season?
We’ll create the creepiest locations, delve into the minds of your most rotten characters and get to grips with structure and suspense building.
We’ll then bring your spooky stories to life thorough sound, recording our own sound and voice effects, experimenting with fun equipment like guitar pedals and recording gear, and putting it all together into a chilling soundtrack.
