Creative You Junior is a project for young people ages 8-10 who live in Washington East and therefore places will be allocated on this basis.
Event description
Join us over the summer holidays for free day-long workshops with animators Sheryl Jenkins and Robin Webb.
Bring your own characters, worlds and stories to life with a professional animator, learn about different animation techniques and meet like-minded young people in a friendly and supportive space.
Stop-Motion Magic (14th and 15th August): Learn about different animation techniques, design your own characters and bring them to life with motion, voices and sound effects.
Claymation Creations (26th and 27th August): Make a character, create a world for them to exist in and then bring it all to life using traditional animation methods as used in Wallace & Gromit, The Nightmare Before Christmas and Coraline.
