Washington Emerging 2026

Are you a young musician? Do you want to perform on stage? Apply to take part in Washington Emerging 2026!

Bright Lights is Arts Centre Washington’s annual youth arts festival. Last year, we hosted the second edition of Washington Emerging – a showcase of the North East’s best up-and-coming young musicians. We had performances from the likes of Apricity, The Last Time and Isabel Maria.

This year, we want to highlight even more of the regions talent and invite young musicians to register their interest in performing as part of the showcase. Whether you’re a solo artist or part of a group, make anything from folk to funk, this is an exciting opportunity to perform in front of an audience with your peers.
