Event description
Dean Raymond Gooch is a daring LGBTQIA+ artist currently studying Fine Art at University of Sunderland. He explores themes such as identity, fantasy and historical literature. Specialising in art, design, and photography, he experiments with different styles and approaches such as documentary, macro, videography, screen and risograph printing.
He creates large scale photographic works within the studio, where he works with body, set design and props. Dean explores the gay community by contrasting binaries with individualism through his ideologies but also through his process lead engagement.
By contrasting traditional screen-printing with modern ink jet printing he holistically portrays his ideas in a bright and bubbly manner, easy to read and accessible for his audience.
