Three handcrafted paper lanterns decorated to look like planets hang against a solid black background. The top lantern features patchworks of blue and green tissue paper resembling Earth, while the bottom-left yellow and green lantern has red and purple paper rings attached around its middle. The lantern on the right is covered in colourful patchwork, and simple yellow star graphics are scattered across the black space around them.

Event description

What planet are you on?

What would your very own planet look like? Who would live there? And what strange, wonderful things might happen?

Join Theatre Space North East for a playful 90-minute family adventure where craft meets drama and imagination takes centre stage!

Using lanterns, colourful paper, gems, textures and all sorts of creative materials, you’ll design and build your very own planet. Then, together, we’ll bring that world to life through drama games, movement, storytelling and imaginative play.

You might discover strange creatures, invent new languages, create a planetary celebration or even find yourself facing an unexpected intergalactic adventure.

This event is free but booking is essential.
