Event description

Join Sunderland based artist Lyn Killeen and members of Southwick REACH for workshops inspired by the art, life and archive of Sunderland artist Audrey Amiss.

Her scrapbooks, sketchbooks and everyday observations offer a powerful lens on creativity, identity, and lived experience.

Participants will explore Amiss’ methods through accessible creative activities that encourage curiosity, reflection, and self‑expression.

Each workshop is unique and can be booked individually or together.

 

About Southwick REACH

Southwick REACH (Research Education Arts and Culture Home) is a community arts and heritage group based in Sunderland’s Southwick area. Through practical research and arts sessions facilitated by a dedicated arts practitioner, the group is dedicated to promoting wellbeing for residents and those with links to the area through creative engagement. The group grew out of the 2015 digital research project ‘Putting Southwick on the Map’, organised by the University of Sunderland.
