Programme Spotlight: Future Creatives

Future Creatives is a community for young people aged 13-18 (up to 25 with SEND) who are passionate about creativity.

Through workshops, trips, artist-led projects and networking opportunities, the programme helps young people develop skills, build confidence and connect with professional creatives.

Future Creatives also supports young people to explore pathways into the creative industries and see themselves as active contributors to Sunderland’s cultural life.

The programme is shaped by young people through our youth-led steering group, The Loop, ensuring activities reflect their interests and ambitions.
