Three people are gathered around a table inside a room with a rustic brick wall. One person on the left wears a black top and holds a paintbrush. In the middle, a person in a white lace top leans over the table to help. On the right, a younger person with glasses and pigtails is focused on drawing or painting. The table is covered with art supplies, including pens and papers.

Creative Sparks delivers free creative opportunities for children across Sunderland through after-school clubs and holiday programmes.

Weekly sessions take place in youth and community settings across the city and are led by experienced artists and creative practitioners. Activities include art, music, drama, animation, ceramics and filmmaking.

Holiday programmes are delivered in partnership with community organisations and Holiday Activities and Food providers, ensuring that children who face the greatest barriers can access creative opportunities during school breaks.
