Sunderland Film Club presents The Weird and the Eerie – a one-day film festival celebrating the most dread-inducing modern horror.
Join us at Sunderland Minster this November for a screening of Ben Wheatley’s singular neo folk-horror – Kill List.
Eight months after a disastrous job in Kiev left him physically and mentally scarred, ex-soldier turned contract killer Jay is pressured by his partner, Gal, into taking a new assignment. As they descend into the dark and disturbing world of the contract, Jay begins to unravel once again – his fear and paranoia sending him deep into a uniquely British heart of darkness.
Before the screening, we will be joined for a performance by Sunderland experimentalist – Feral Yon. Expect dread, doom and drone.
