Event description

The Tuesday Museum Club is Sunderland Museum & Winter Gardens monthly session for home educated families with children aged 5 – 11 years old. It takes place on the first Tuesday of each month and is a fun way of learning about history, science and art through the Museum collections.

Travel and Trains: It is the 200th anniversary of passenger trains, discover how trains changed the life of people in the past and about George Hudson the Railway King. Explore some museum objects to see what people took with them on their travels.
