Event description

This vibrant exhibition celebrates the creative voices of Mill Hill Nursery School’s children. Through the rhythm of dots, children have explored identity, connection, and belonging, whilst experimenting with intelligent materials, composition and technique.

Each dot represents more than colour and pattern; it symbolises focus, choice, and imagination. Inspired by artist Yayoi Kusama, The Polka Dot Princess, and the story of The Dot by Peter Reynolds, children discovered that even a single dot can be the start of something amazing.

At the heart of this exhibition is the IF child where we value process over product, curiosity over outcome and presence over procedure. Creativity unfolds gently, dot by dot, through wonder, play, and reflection. Visitors are invited to pause, observe, and celebrate the power of the dot.
