Railway200 celebrates the 200th anniversary of the modern railway in 2025 – a once-in-a-generation opportunity to explore rails’ crucial role in national life.  

Explore objects and archives from the collection with our staff and volunteers and heritage partners and model making activities. This event supports #lovesunderlandheritage.
