Join us for a drop-in community information event about the redevelopment of Sunderland Museum & Winter Gardens.

We’re keen to share our plans for the future, celebrate the museum’s history and spend time with the people and organisations who help make Sunderland’s cultural and community life so vibrant.

Arrival and Refreshments – Pottery Gallery

  • 2pm – 2:30pm
  • 2:30pm – 3pm
  1. Welcome and introduction to the redevelopment
  2. History of the Museum building and proposed physical changes
  3. The Palace in the Park (new publication available to purchase)
  4. Find out how to become a Museum Redevelopment Champion

Pre-booked Museum Stores Tours

Come and see what goes on behind the scenes

  • Tour one runs from 3pm – 4pm
  • Tour two runs from 4:30pm – 5:30pm

First-come, first-served basis, maximum 12 persons per tour.

Please confirm in your RSVP if you wish to join a tour.
